The average Internet user ends up performing hundreds of DNS lookups each day.

Official Google Blog: Introducing Google Public DNS

So much more than I would intuitively say. BTW I read the number 1000 elsewhere. But if I think about it for a second I guess it’s right. I am actually thinking about using their DNS service. Guess that would require some router tweaking on my part. Am I turning into a real nerd?
