Watched the documentary The Two Escobars about a week ago. It’s really impressive. The story of a country - Colombia - told through the sad history of a gifted, dedicated and honest soccer player. Thanks for the link, Bo.

Love this quote: “”The only reason they do it, I believe, is to show they’re alive”.
Thanks Michiel for pointing me to this documentary about the rise of the graffiti scene in Amsterdam from the 70s into the 90s. Find more background on the project here as well as the possibility to order the DVD.

Watched the Oscar 2004 winning documentary ‘Fog of War’ yesterday evening (watch here for free). It centers around interviews with the recently deceased Robert McNamara who was secretary of defense during the Vietnam war. Subject: men making war.
“We lucked out. It was luck that prevented nuclear war. Rational people came that close to total destruction of their societies. And that danger exists today”.
This documentary made me quiet. Very quiet. A must see, especially for all the world leaders. Hope we can learn from his lessons.
Great documentary (Dutch only) about Dutch advertising icon Erik Kessels from KesselsKramer. It’s all about perspective. Very inspiring.
