The Roots - The Fire (feat. John Legend) [snag]
The Roots resemble everything I love about hip hop, quite honestly. I’m not sure quite what else to say, except that I’m looking forward to a long run with their new album in my ears.
Great song. Great blog. Love his “about me”. Discovered through the amazing ExtensionFM, a music discovery service built as a Google Chrome extension. Gotta love the internets.

I’ve been using the Google Chrome extension Extension.fm for about 2 weeks now and it rocks. Check out the introduction video if you’re into online music. Basically, Extension.fm recognizes when an MP3 file is present on a web page and adds it to your personal library in the browser. This library is always playable, even when you are not on the original site anymore that contains the MP3. The extension is currently in beta. When I’ve got some new invitation codes I will tweet it out (@carpy).
Found this track posted by Fred thanks to Bijan who pointed me to Extension.fm. More on that later. This is a great song which made my feet stomp all the way. Read some raving reviews in Dutch national paper NRC last Saturday about Yeasayer’s album. And they are right.
O.N.E. - Yeasayer
i was thinking of posting this yesterday but went with a reblog of Bijan. Now I’m reblogging Mo. Those Spark guys sure have good taste.
Yeasayer, O.N.E.
I’m pre-calling the new Yeasayer album as one of the best of 2010.
Reblogging from 30k feet. Thanks Mo.
